Biography

Prisca Benita Born in Yaounde the capital of Cameroon began writing songs at the age of four and playing guitar at the age of sixteen. Prisca Benita has discovered her gift in the Contemporary creative art in 1997 when she painted some figures on paper with pencil as a gift to her friend. In 1998 she was admitted as a medical student in the Faculty of Medicine of Bamako in Mali. Bamako was the Promised Land for the improvement of her talent in Contemporary Abstract art. Her connection with the Director of the National Museum of Mali Samuel Sidibe led her to a new level in the art. Prisca Benita has received several awards as the acknowledgement of her effort to create, such as the award of encouragement that she received from the minister of culture of Mali Cheick Oumar Sissoko in 2004. Prisca Benita creates with materials. She uses natural colors from dust and leaves; she also uses water color, acrylic and oil. The materiel is diverse, clothes, cottons, wood, wastes and more. Prisca Benita has released her first African Gospel Music Album in 2008. She is all together producer, songwriter, singer, guitarist, dancer and creative artist. Her faith in God is her ultimate purpose of living.
